Murder In Vail
By: Judy Moore
Genre: Mystery/Thriller
Release Date:  September 25, 2016

Sally Braddock’s serene lifestyle atop a mountain in Vail, Colorado, changes drastically each year when her three spoiled children and their spouses visit her – and her money – for Christmas. They live off their trust funds, which are disappearing quickly, and spend most of the holidays bickering and hitting up their mother for money.

This year, Sally makes an announcement that sends her children into a tizzy, an announcement so extreme that it pushes someone in the house to murder. The storm inside the house is matched by a raging blizzard outside, and the family finds themselves snowbound with a killer.

Sally is a wealthy widow who tries to hold onto tradition. She invites her three grown children and their spouses back for Christmas each year, And each year, the dynamic changes. The children are spoiled beyond words, thanks to the 25 million dollar lump sum trust fund they were each granted. As penny-wise as their parents were, the kids didn't inherit that ability. They've squandered their riches and have come back home with their hands out to beg mommy for more.

Not all children and spouses like being in the house. Not all children and spouses would be there if it weren't for the possibility of money. Greed goes to the core of their being - every last one of the kids and spouses. When the possibility of getting more money seems to be a fleeting thought, most want to leave. But a huge snowstorm forces them to stay. And when spoiled brats don't get their way, and they can't storm off, bad results happen. Someone gets killed!

But did it get them the money they expected they'd get? Did they kill the wrong person?
